Grade A quality | Tippy China Keemun Mao Feng Furry Peak Whole Leaf Black Tea with a characteristic flavor and notes of plums and fir. The delicate tightly twisted & long hand-rolled tea leaves of this Qimen variety are picked in the Chinese Anhui province. Often preferred as afternoon or evening tea. Low in tannic acid. To sweeten consider white or amber Rock Candy Crystals. China Keemun teas are full-bodied, potent and fresh.

Ingredients: Prime Grade Black Whole Leaf Tea from the Anhui Province in China. Low tannic acid content.

Suggested Water Temperature: 212 F  –  Suggested Infusion Time: 5 Minutes.

Preparation: Bring fresh water to the boil. Warm up your tea pot by rinsing it with hot water. Fill one teaspoon per 6 oz cup of this Black Tea into the preheated tea pot or preferred cup. Pour the hot water into the tea. Let infuse up to 5 Minutes and serve. Remove infuser or pour your tea into another tea-pot or thermos carafe. Using an infuser or ‘Permanent Tea Filter’ for your cup or pot makes it easy to separate the leaves from the beverage after steeping.

Culinary notes: Because of its fresh and light and sweet character this Black Tea is offered as a choice with milder foods, vegetarian, macrobiotic or vegetable recipes and special desserts including fruits, lighter cheese selections. Suitable as afternoon and High Tea choice.
