Rare Curly Leaf & Spice Infusion | TeaFountain Superb Wulong Edition with mild spices | The curly large leaves of this Monkey-Picked-Style ‘Milk Oolong Tung Ting’ (known as Dragon Tea) are another ‘Champagne of the China Teas’. The delicate and intimate creamy scent and flavor of this Kinsen selection is created by gently adding the steam and vapor of cream to the drying leaves. Added precious spices create balanced exotic flavor profiles.
A gentle steaming and semi-fermentation process (approx. 10%) of the Oolong tea allows the external part of the leaf to ferment without changing its cores chemistry significantly. Light, jade-colored infusion.
Outstanding flavor. Also preferred by the tea-connoisseur as afternoon and ‘Dinner Tea’ choice.
To sweeten consider adding just a few White Rock Candy Crystals. To prepare this selection use hot, not boiling water, let infuse for 5 minutes before serving and, if desired, add hot water a second time to the same leaves, allowing the tea to infuse a couple of minutes longer each time. Theine (caffeine) content: Low | Gift Tin Packaging (Reusable & Recyclable)
Ingredients: Milk-vapor-treated whole semi-fermented rolled Wulong Grade Green Oolong Tea leaves from China, cocoa kernels, white cocoa butter splits (sugar, cocoa butter, dextrose), ginger, cinnamon, pink pepper, chili pods, stevia leaves, natural flavor. May contain traces of milk.
Suggested Water Temperature: 180 F – Suggested Infusion Time: 5 Minutes.
Preparation: Bring fresh water to the boil. Let it cool down for 2 minutes. Warm up your tea pot by rinsing it with hot water. Fill one teaspoon per 6 oz cup of this Oolong Tea tea into the preheated tea pot or preferred cup. Pour the hot water into the tea. Let infuse 5 Minutes and serve. Remove infuser or pour your tea into another tea-pot or thermos carafe. Using an infuser or ‘Permanent Tea Filter’ for your cup or pot makes it easy to separate the leaves from the beverage after steeping. Most customers like to prepare another infusion with the same leaves.
Culinary notes: Because of its fresh and lighter green tea character this Oolong Grade Tea is offered as a choice with light foods, vegetarian, macrobiotic or vegetable recipes and special desserts including fruits and lighter French cheese selections. Suitable as High Tea selection.
