Traditional Instant Tea Selection | TeaFountain FAST TRACK TEATM Series | Mild Ceremony Usu Cha (Thin Tea) with a small amount of sugar added to create a perfect Iced Tea base. Stone Ground. Japan’s Uji Region teas are plucked in four periods during the growing season. This mild USU EDITION (Thin Tea) tea is the best stone-ground leaf Japan has to offer.
The small Gyokuro leaves are harvested starting the end of May after beeing covered for 20 days in 90% shade (more chlorophyll / less tannin / darker leaf / sweeter taste). The chopped leaf becomes the ‘Tencha’ that is ground into MATCHA, Japan’s ceremonial tea. To lightly sweeten consider Rock Candy Crystals or our popular Oregon Tea Honeys # 88005.
Serve as refreshing and energizing or special after dinner tea, and a cleansing beverage.
