Malty-Strong TeaFountain Custom Blend | We designed this Custom Blend for its full strenght and a malty character using Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe leaves with Golden Tips from Assam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Africa.
Not quite as strong as our # 1045 Irish Breakfast Tea yet more brisk then the # 1038 English Breakfast selection. Compare also with the TeaFountain ‘East Coast’ Special Teas. Enjoy with milk and Rock Candy Crystals or our popular Oregon Tea Honeys # 88005.
Add a little Whisky to create a ‘Cold Weather’ beverage. A slightly smoky variety of this selection is our TF # 1064 Organic Tea Blend SCOTTISH BREAKFAST TGFOP ‘BraveStart’.
Theine (caffeine) content: High | Gift Tin Packaging (Reusable & Recyclable)
Ingredients: A fine Blend of Broken Orange Pekoe leaves with Golden Tips from Assam, Ceylon, Indonesia and Africa.
Suggested Water Temperature: 212 F – Suggested Infusion Time: 5 Minutes.
Preparation: Bring fresh water to the boil. Warm up your tea pot by rinsing it with hot water. Fill one teaspoon per 6 oz cup of this Black Tea into the preheated tea pot or preferred cup. Pour the hot water into the tea. Let infuse up to 5 Minutes and serve. Remove infuser or pour your tea into another tea-pot or thermos carafe. Using an infuser or ‘Permanent Tea Filter’ for your cup or pot makes it easy to separate the leaves from the beverage after steeping.
Culinary notes: Because of its darker character this Black Tea is offered as a choice with stronger foods, vegetarian, macrobiotic or vegetable recipes and special desserts including fruits, stronger cheese selections. Suitable as afternoon and High Tea choice. Suitable as High Tea selection.
