Tulsi Leaves / Cut Grade / TeaFountain Wellness Tea / TeaFountain 'Health & Harmony'TM Series / The Tulsi plant Ocimum sanctum or Ocimum tenuiflorum is cultivated in India and South Asia. Its leaves and essential oil create an aromatic spicy flavor. Also known as Holy Basil, the Tulsi bush has religious aspects in the Vaishnavite Hinduistic tradition. The green leaves are a popular ingredient in ayurvedic remedies for internal and external use to treat stomach disorders, headaches, inflammations, help to relief stress, and are common in cosmetic skin care products. Dried Tulsi leaves make a delicious herbal infusion with a deep sweet-spicy taste. To sweeten consider Rock Candy Crystals or our popular Oregon Tea Honeys # 88005. Theine (caffeine) content: None / Gift Tin Packaging
