The Tea Stick works well with small and-regular grade loose tea but we don't recommend it to be used with larger Oolong leaves or White teas. For those teas you might want to consider the # 40014 Tea Infuser with storage cup. The Tea Stick is made of Restaurant-Grade 18/10 stainless steel and food-grade plastic to assure that no metal taste becomes part of your infusion.
