2013 Organic China Fancy Oolong QILAN WULONG # 1307
Price: $6.45

Special Grade - Valued as one of the best Teas available in China, this Organic 'Qilan Wulong # 1307 Supreme' Oolong represents an unusually variety of the tea plant 'Thea sinensis' from the southern Fujian Province. It carries a deep and gentle-fresh fragrance.
Green and Black Teas are grown and harvested in 14 provinces of Central and Southern China. The Tea Estates are located in the mountain regions. They produce a wide variety of blends and flavors.
The best known names are China Keemun, Szechwan, Yunnan, Fujian Jasmine and Rose Tea. The best tea quality comes from leaves that are picked during the May harvest. Academic research shows that green and semi-fermented thea sinensis leaves are potent fat burners and help to prevent cancer and arteriosclerosis
Precious leaves from the Fujian Province in China are also referred to as Wulong or Wu-Long Teas (named after Wu Liang who, as legend has it, started the semi-fermentation process of the 'Black Dragon' leaves).
Theine (caffeine) content: Medium
